Replacing Stretch Film with Glue Application

Glue application is stretch film replacement for tertiary packaging to hold beverage together during storage and transportation
It is applied on the top side before stacking to hold the cases together

Using Recycled Mixture in Shrink Films

Shrink films are the plastic wrap around the primary packaging
To use 20-30% of recycled mixture in shrink films

Bottle Downgauging

Reduce weight of packaging by lowering the plastic content in the packaging

Use of recycled materials in Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) products from 2023 onwards

Successfully added 20% recycled PET into the packaging of selected PET bottles as of 2023, while continuously working towards further improvement

Replacing Non-Recyclable PVC with Recyclable PET Labels

Ongoing conversion with target completion by 2025

ETIKA X HIROYUKI : LETS RESCUE PET BOTTLES

Etika Group of Companies ("Etika") joined hands with Hiroyuki Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, a Japanese manufacturer of high quality food-grade recycled PET resin to launch its "Lets Rescue PET Bottles" campaign during a 3-day "Program Kempen Kepenggunaan" organised by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) at MyTown Kuala Lumpur.
